A Real Snow Day

On Friday(overnight Thursday), it snowed about 5 inches on top of the inch or 2 of ice we got earlier this week! I took the girls out on Friday but it wasn't much fun because the snow was too powdery due to it being 17* out. But the snow was PERFECT this morning, as temperatures got into the upper 40s and it packed very nicely. We had some snowball fights and then G and I made a snowman.

We also enjoyed some snow dessert- snow with chocolate sauce and sprinkles. Elia wasn't so sure at first.

Most of the snow is melted by now. In fact, G's snowman is dead. It was fun while it lasted. Come on, spring!
