Hair

I think the worst thing about having girls is dealing with their hair.  its always tangled, there is always screeching, and coaxing them to sit still so I can put it in a braid or a bow in it is exhausting.  I often threaten them that I'm just going to cut it all of so they have hair like daddy.  That usually results in more screeching.

Even with the short hair, there are still tangles and bows and braids to whine about.  Less, but still there!

Haircut

I finally had Elia's hair cut.  Chris was pretty disappointed I got it cut so short, but it will grow out!  Here are some before shots:

She got a sucker afterward.  I want to say that they cut 4 or maybe even 5 inches off in the back,

 I washed her hair later and there were no snarls AND she didn't screech once when I brushed through it.  Can't remember the last time that happened!  More after pics to come in other blog posts!

Haircut

I took the girls (Elia's first time!!) to get their haircut.  They were both champs through the whole thing.  Gianna got a bob and Elia just got all her dead ends cut off.  When I texted pictures to Chris, my caption was, could they get more beautiful?

G's New Do

I took advantage of my extra day off today to get Gianna's haircut. It has been quite the struggle these past few months brushing out her hair everyday. There are always tangles, and she screams when I try to brush through them. She also hates it when I put her hair up in a braid or ponytail. So we chopped it off. And it is SO cute!

Super Star pt 2

Elia is a super star! The first one is from a week ago and the second is from last night. She is almost running in the second one. Also, the second video has a sweet shot of G's new do.

Hillbilly baby

Elia has 3 teeth- 2 on the bottom, and one on top. The one on top has come through completely, so she looks like a hillbilly baby! I wish I had a better picture to show, but I cannot get her to open her mouth and be at the correct angle at the same time.

On Monday, I went grocery shopping with the girls. As I was checking out, Gianna found a tiny mirror on the side of the checkout and was somehow inspired to break out in song. And it was LOUD. She was singing I'm a little tea pot at the top of her lungs, and everyone, I mean EVERYONE within a 20 foot radius stopped and stared. There was even one woman who pointed at her! I was so embarrassed. Now, I could tell that everyone who had stopped and stared at her thought it was pretty cute, but to have everyone's attention on me/G was a bit unnerving. And Gianna was completely oblivious! I'll have to get that on video and post it!
On Wednesday I took Gianna to get her haircut and she was such a good girl! She wanted to watch in the mirror the whole time. She and Elia were so good, I got my eyebrows done without a problem! I never thought in a million years that I would be able to handle both girls on such an errand, and I did it!

It seems like the time is crawling by until Christmas! It is going to be such a wonderful time!
