The glory(filth) of a bachelor?

Almost a week now with no wife and kidoo....you know what that means right...no showers...no clean dishes and no clean underwear...well sort of...i think i can make it till Wednesday as long as i don't work out more than once a day....i can't tell if the house stinks or not....should i be concerned for the poor wife and kid who have to come home to this? Nah....they've put up with me for this long...I'm sure they won't even notice....

Soooo major DOH moment.... The last several weeks G has been pretty fickle about sleeping. She won't go down easily, wakes up real easy, and gets up early in the morning. Well it was driving Moe and I crazy and the other night out of frustration i put a fan in her room....and it worked. The white noise was all she wanted. Unbelievable that it took us this long to do it and why didn't we think about it sooner....DOH!
G had her first run in with a real pool yesterday, with mixed reviews. Not a big fan at first kinda warmed up to it before eventually finding it too drab for her....But i am sure she will warm up to it when she starts going everyday. I really should get to work...

I don't know what to write about. The frustration that is showing up to work...or the joy of being a father. I'll touch on the former for one sec....i am being paid to show up for 8 hrs....basically...i have to answer my phone and tell people to call back in two weeks....and i get to work out at the gym for an hour and half. Well yesterday it was more like 2 hours...you see i show up at 8 everyday(g has to be to daycare by 8 or she turns into a pumpkin), and i had to man the phones from 6-7...so i killed 2 hours in the gym..fun...at least i have finished the 1st season of lost. on to season 2.
The joy of being a father. need i say more than what pictures of G already say? The sweetest darn girl in the world. Ask for a kiss and you shall receive...she even kissed the ugly mug of her godfather/uncle. The other night we went to a "party" and there were quite a few kiddos... she was the life of the party and she knew it too...not only that but she thinks she's like 5 years old...i am in for some big trouble with this one...
I always thought it was kinda lame when Dad and his friends used to joke about bethrothing their daughters...it's not so lame anymore....i don't want to deal with teenage boyfriends...But here i am coming up on fathers day #2.... and i know that in about 15 more I am going to have to get a shotgun...no shells cause just the sound of a shotgun getting cocked is enough to make a 16 year old boy wet himself...

Unbelievably bored

If you didn't know this...i have nothing to do at work. The investor that I manage has completely blackballed us (meanwhile they think nothing is wrong...). Basically i show up to work and tell everyone calling me.."no sorry nothing yet..call in two weeks" (they call the next day). So i do alot of other stuff that doesn't pay me include surfing the internet.....well until today... THEY TURNED THE INTERNET OFF! No facebook, no youtube, no ebay, no fantasy baseball. At least i have this....so be prepared for regular posts (or untill this gets shut down)

So this weekend we had G's Dallas partay. I can't post the pictures from work...so those will be up later today. But oh boy did she get some presents. Friday she got a beautiful build a bear monkey from my work friend Nicole and family...She got so excited. She got another monkey on Saturday and now she has a monkey family... she is freaking hilarious with her monkeys she gets so excited to see them. And you should see her monkey cake that was made by Jody (Moe's work friend). Incredible..it was a big hit.

Sunday kicked my butt. Pilarski (my manager) Chris Scott and i went on a 12 mile trail ride....at 7 in the morning...took us about two and a half hours but when we finished it felt good!. Word of advise ...don't go bike riding at 7.30 in the morning on just an english muffin... I was so dog tired yesterday after that...

I'd like to say i have work to do....but i don't so i am going to finish lost season 1 on the ipod
