"WOW" what a weekend

WOOOOOWWW
We learned a new word this weekend. Wow, which hardly describes her reactions to fireworks on Thursday night. We went to the Addison, Kaboomtown which was ridiculous....some drunk old people sitting next to us told us that 300,000 people were there for it..i don't know if i should believe them...one dude polished off 2 bottles of wine, by himself, another polished off a handle of some nasty looking whisky and another guy basically finished a 12 pack...Gianna loves drunk old people by the way(fyi the wives were there to take them home) .... The airshow was cool, Gianna was mildly interested in the planes....and the fireworks didn't start till 9.30 which was way past her bedtime and we had to force her to stay awake but once the biplane with the massive sparklers came out....she got so excited...she taught herself a new word ...wow. It's all she could say for the next 25 minutes....She was dancing and screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW..... clapping and cheering it was unbelievable. We tried to go see more this weekend but it didn't work out.

So Friday we were just as daring....we rode the DART to the zoo. From Plano. It went surprisingly well. Gianna said HIYE to everyone riding...even the homeless guy with a jug of milk whose stench stayed with us for 5 minutes after he walked by. She loved the zoo...I have to say this...The Dallas Zoo is perfect for little kids (even in 100degree weather) because it is small enough to get through in a couple of hours and has most of the cool animals (didn't see lions tigers or bears....go ahead and say it....oh my). The ride back was a little tedious because it was her nap time..but it went fairly well. IT was reassuring to see several other families on the way there and on the way back. When we got home we managed to clean the house before our friends John Sam +1 showed up for dinner.

Friday was extremely productive only for us to do the exact opposite on saturday....nothing...not one thing.....and it was heavenly...(Sunday we did everything else...you know the chores)....i wish 3 day weekends were more frequent...maybe with the cost of gas and commuting going up my employer will entertain the idea HAH who am i kidding

Oh yeah...and about that walking thing.....yeah she's on it... little bits here and there but yesterday i got her to follow me around the floor for a good 5 steps!
