Another weekend of non stop Rowles style action. Saturday was pretty ridiculous. An 8.30 am walk at Arbor Hills Nature preserve which has quickly become one of our favorite spots. G loves the nice little jaunt and there are aways furry and feathery creatures for her to talk to and lots of people to say " hi hi hi hi hi hi" to. The coolest part is that after we go for our walk there is one of the coolest parks around for her to play at. This thing is massive has like 15 different slides, treetop style walkways...i wish i had something like this when i was a kid...but it's nice having a kid that enjoys it...i can't wait for her to get a little older, then i really get to be a kid again.
Home for a nap and then straight to the pool. Rosemeade rec center has this awesome rainforest pool with a lazy river, slides, water guns, spray thingies everywhere... and best of all most of it is shallow enough for G to enjoy. Well Momma and G go there pretty much everyday without me and they had never been down the slide...leave it to pops to bring out the daredevil in her. The tube was a little daunting for her at first but when we got to the bottom i handed her to Moe so i could get out of the luge thingy and immediately she lunged back at me
...she hasn't learned "again" yet but it's coming and when it does i am in trouble. I think we ended up going down the slide like 15 times and each time we had to wait for a couple of people...."GET OUT OF THE WAY PEOPLE"..
side note....i didn't know ankle bracelets were waterproof and that people with ankle bracelets were allowed at the pool....
Back home for nap#2...and then over to a going away party for the Marx'seses 3+ hours with a ton of kiddos wore her down ... She was begging to go to bed
... Only to torture us with a 5 am screamfest.... which basically beat us down on Sunday.... didn't get to church until the night mass and that was basically a joke...we spent the whole time in the back with G cause she wanted to run a couple miles during mass... so we took her back to the park to get all her energy out...by the time we left she was almost lifeless....
